What is carbon black made of?
May 16, 2022
1. Carbon black produced by calcium carbide as raw material is mostly conductive acetylene carbon black and acetylene conductive carbon black.
2. Most of the carbon blacks produced from coal tar and anthracene oil are pigment carbon blacks and rubber carbon blacks.
3. Carbon black produced from heavy oil as raw material is mostly conductive carbon black, superconducting carbon black and superconducting carbon black.
4. The main use of natural gas is as fuel, which can produce carbon black, chemicals and liquefied petroleum gas. Propane and butane produced from natural gas are important raw materials for modern industry.
5. Anthracene oil has a high viscosity and solid washes out at room temperature. It is a raw material for the manufacture of coatings, electrodes, pitch coke, carbon black, wood preservative oil and pesticides. It is mainly used to extract crude anthracene, acenaphthene, fluorene, Chemical raw materials such as phenanthrene and carbazole.
Shanxi Starwin owns five production lines whoes annual capacity could reach to 100,000 Mtons. It can produce more than 30 types of fine carbon black used for plastics, conductivity, paints, inks, coatings etc. besides rebber grade carbon black. In addition,Starwin builds two suits of Exhaust gas power generation equipments (3000KW), one suit of Waste water purification and recycling equipment (100,000Mtons/year), one suit of Desulphurization equipment and two suits of Denitrification equipments. With own import-export license, our products have has been exported to over 20 countries and regions such as USA, Australia, Brazil, India, Canada, South Africa, Italy and Pakistan, and enjoy a high reputation both in domestic and international markets.
